A TEIGNBRIDGE fire station will be holding its annual charity car wash at the end of month.

Bovey Tracey Fire Station’s car wash takes place on Saturday, March 29.

‘We will have our buckets and sponges ready for washing from 10am, so whether you need a quick scrub or a full wash, please pop down and help raise some funds for a very worthwhile cause!’ a spokesperson for the station said.

The car wash is in aid of The Firefighters Charity, which offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to live happier and healthier lives.

Last year’s car wash raised more than £1,500 for the charity.
