A NEWTON Abbot car park will close for up to three days next week as tree removal work takes place.
Baker's Park car park will be closed from Monday, April 14.
This is to allow Teignbridge District Council (TDC) to undertake emergency tree removal work following damage to a retaining wall.
‘Signs have been put up in the car park to inform visitors about the temporary closure and we are hopeful that the work can be completed quickly’ Teignbridge District Council (TDC) said.
It is hoped the work will take no longer than three days.
Alternative parking is available at Venture Court Car Park, Bradley Lane and pedestrian access through the car park will be maintained, TDC say.
Elsewhere, the Livestock Market car park will have only one entrance and exit until Thursday, April 17.
This is due to ongoing roadworks by Wales & West Utilities.
‘We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by these temporary changes’ TDC said.
