A WOMAN has appeared in court for littering after dropping a roll up cigarette.

Rea Lerwill, 41, of Bickington, Newton Abbot, pleaded guilty to throwing, dropping or otherwise disposing of the cigarette at Paignton on December 7, 2021, contrary to the Environmental Protection Act of 1990.

Lerwill was given an absolute discharge by magistrates.
