A NEWTON Abbot woman has been accused of stealing more the £7,000.
Maria Stancu, aged 35, of Drum Way, Heathfield, appeared before South and West Devon Magistrates' Court and was charged with stealing £7,460 cash from Michael Tim Wood.
The theft was alleged to have happened in Newton Abbot between January 6 and 20 of 2022.
The case was adjourned to August 18 for a Newton hearing.
