A 80-year-old man suffered serious injuries after a collision in Exeter as police seek witnesses.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in Exeter on Monday, March 31.

Emergency services were called at around 11.25am to South Street where it was reported that a collision had occurred involving a bus and a male pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a local man in his 80s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.

‘Anyone with any relevant information or dash-cam footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact police via our website or by calling 101 quoting log 235 of 31 March’ a spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said.
