A LITTLE bit of imagination can take you far... as firefighters from Buckfastleigh proved with their latest training night.

The team from the town's fire station practiced Breathing Apparatus (BA) techniques at the designated search areas onsite.

But to make these areas that bit less familiar the crew purposefully distorted their masks, to give the impression of smoke, as well as utilising their imagination where necessary.

‘With a bit of imagination and a mask to give the wearer the impression of smoke, you really can bring the indoors out!’ a spokesperson for Buckfastleigh Fire Station said.
