WALKERS are being advised to avoid Ness Beach in Shaldon following a rockfall.
The southern end of the beach has been affected by the fall.
The cliffs are made of soft rock and are prone to erosion and landslips at any time.
Teignbridge Council, which is responsible for the beach, has issued warnings.
A spokesman said: ‘Please read the signs in the tunnel entrance to the beach and avoid the area under the cliffs.’
