KINGSTEIGNTON councillors lay a wreath in respect of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Cllr Bill Thorne paid this special tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
He conveyed his deepest sympathy to the Royal Family as he laid a wreath in her memory on behalf of Kingsteignton Town Council and of the residents of Kingsteignton.
Also in attendance were Cllrs Ian Burrows and Julie Scagell, town clerk Carol Lakin, deputy clerk Michelle Lewis-Clarke, communications officer Shirley Simmons and maintenance officer Dave Turner.
Residents are invited to lay floral tributes at the Cider Press in the grounds of the Kingsteignton Town Council offices, at The Community Hall.
The Book of Condolence is available in the foyer of the Community Hall for residents and visitors to sign until Friday, September 16, from 8am to 3.30pm.
The council offices, community hall building has been lit in purple in the hours of darkness and the Union Flag will remain at half-mast until 8am on the day following the funeral.
