Teignbridge's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A30, from 11am June 7 to 11.59pm June 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen slip road, multiway traffic lights installed by National Grid Electricity.
And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 8pm June 10 to 4am June 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Linhay to Ashburton, lane closure for barrier repairs .
• A30, from 8pm June 11 to 4am June 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Woodleigh lane closures for barrier repairs.
• A30, from 8pm June 18 to 6am June 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road to A30 closed for surveys, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford and return.
• A30, from 8pm June 18 to 6am June 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington to M5, junction 31 carriageway closure for surveys, diversion via A377, Cowick Lane, Marsh Green Road West, Trusham Road, B3213 and A379, north to for M5 and south for A38.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
