Teignbridge's motorists will have 17 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A38, from 7pm October 17 to 6am October 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone exit slip road closure for carriageway improvements, diversion via A38 eastbound to Drumbridges, A382 and A383.
• A30, from 7pm October 13 to 6am October 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for resurfacing, diversion via exit and entry slip roads.
• A30, from 7pm October 13 to 6am October 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington junction, Exeter to Fingle Glen carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Ide Lane, Tedburn Road and Five Mile Hill.
• A30, from 7pm October 13 to 6am October 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closures for resurfacing.
And a further 12 closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A38, from 8pm October 20 to 4am October 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Kennford lane closure for signing works.
• A30, from 8pm October 21 to 6am October 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington junction, Exeter entry slip road closure for resurfacing, diversion via A30 eastbound and A38 southbound to Kennford and return.
• A38, from 8pm October 21 to 4am October 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Splatford Split entry slip road closed for signage works. Diversion via minor road to Kennford junction.
• A30, from 7pm October 24 to 6am November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington junction, Exeter to Fingle Glen carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Ide Lane, Tedburn Road and Five Mile Hill.
• A30, from 7pm October 24 to 6am November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for resurfacing, diversion via exit and entry slip roads.
• A30, from 9pm October 24 to 6am October 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington entry slip lane closure for resurfacing.
• A30, from 11pm October 24 to 6am October 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington junction, Exeter carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Five Mile Hill, Tedburn Road and Ide Lane.
• A30, from 6am October 25 2022 to 6am February 25 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington entry slip lane narrowing for resurfacing.
• A30, from 9am to midday, on October 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Fingle Glen lane closure for horticultural works.
• A30, from 9pm October 27 to 5am October 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 entry slip road closed for horticultural works, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford and return.
• A30, from 9pm October 30 to 8pm November 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington 24hr lane closure and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.
• A30, from 9pm October 30 to midnight, November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington to Fingle Glen daytime lane closure and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
