A NEWTON Abbot estate agents has been named best in the county at an industry award ceremony.

Simply Green Estate Agents were not only named the best in Devon, but the Newton Abbot estate agents also bagged gold in the sales category of this year’s ESTAS Customer Service Awards.

Director of Simply Green, Steve Green, said: ‘To be nominated was great, to beat last year’s silver and get gold was massive and then the extra juicy bonus was winning the best in county’.

The awards are somewhat unique in that there are no judges and no submissions, rather results are based purely off verified customer reviews.

‘It runs March to March, so our reviews are from March 2023 to March 2024 - you’ve got to get over 97 per-cent positive reviews to have a chance’ Steve said.

‘Customer reviews are massive, I want our customers to be happy when they leave, they then tell their friends and then the businesses grows from there.

‘Thank you to every client that has reviewed us’ Steve added.

Phil Spencer hosted the 21st award ceremony, which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Friday, October 18.

Steve travelled to the capital with colleagues Dave Whale and Dominic Ungi - the former Simply Green’s sales manager and the latter the estate agents’ senior negotiator.

The awards saw 1,200 of the UK's top agents, conveyancers, mortgage brokers and suppliers gather under one roof.
