With great sadness felt worldwide we said goodbye to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our patron.
Members and guests can sign the book of condolence held in the entrance of the club up to Monday 3rd October when it will be closed.
Thanks goes to Heather Elliott and family for organizing the annual rounders and afternoon tea and to everyone who joined in.
It was a fun day with the winning team just two points ahead.
The next branch committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 11, from 7.30pm and the next club committee meeting will be held on Thursday, November 10, from 7.30pm. Anyone wishing to add anything to the agendas may do so by writing to the secretaries seven days before.

There will be entertainment on Saturday, October 1, with a Games Night from 7pm, Thursday, October 6, cash prize Quiz from 7.30pm, Friday, October 28, from 8pm a Halloween party with live music from Wireless (prize for the best dressed), Thursday 3rd November cash prize Quiz from 7.30pm, Friday 18th November from 8pm live music from Schofield and on Saturday, November 19, Poppy skittles from 7pm.
First time visitors and members guests are very welcome but must be signed in.
Held at the club: Every Monday night from 7.30pm – bingo, raising funds for the Poppy Appeal; every first Thursday of the month from 7.30pm – Cash prize quiz and every Tuesday – Zumba from 5pm to 6pm.

Other activities – Walking football on Tuesday evenings from 6.15pm to 7pm at Teign School, Golf Society every first Sunday of the month, darts, pool, snooker and skittles teams.
