Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A38, from 7pm December 2 to 6am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Drumbridges to Splatford Split, Kennford, carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via A382, A383 and A380 to Splatford.
And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A30, from 8pm December 11 to 6am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Fingle Glen to Woodleigh, lane closure for barrier works.
• A38, from 8pm December 12 to 4am December 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Harcombe Cross to Chudleigh - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.
• A38, from 8pm December 13 to 4am December 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Linhay to Peartree - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.
• A38, from 7pm December 16 to 6am December 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Splatford Split to Haldon Hill carriageway closed for resurfacing. Diversion via A380 and minor road via Haldon Racecourse.
• A30, from 7pm December 19 to 6am December 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Ide to Pathfinder, lane closure for horticultural works.
• A30, from 8pm December 19 to 6am December 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Cheriton Cross slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via A30 eastbound to Fingle Glen, /Tedburn St Mary and return westbound.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
