Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have 19 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 19 closures are due to start this week:

• A30, from 7pm October 24 to 6am November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington junction, Exeter to Fingle Glen carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Ide Lane, Tedburn Road and Five Mile Hill.

• A30, from 7pm October 24 to 6am November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for resurfacing, diversion via exit and entry slip roads.

• A30, from 9pm October 24 to 6am October 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington entry slip lane closure for resurfacing.

• A30, from 11pm October 24 to 6am October 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington junction, Exeter carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Five Mile Hill, Tedburn Road and Ide Lane.

• A30, from 6am October 25 2022 to 6am February 25 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington entry slip lane narrowing for resurfacing.

• A38, from 8pm October 25 to 6am October 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Peartree exit slip road lane closure for carriageway surfacing works.

• A30, from 9am to midday, on October 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Fingle Glen lane closure for horticultural works.

• A30, from 8pm October 27 to 6am October 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closure for resurfacing works.

• A38, from 8pm October 27 to 4am October 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Linhay to Peartree lane closure for barrier repair.

• A30, from 9pm October 27 to 5am October 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 entry slip road closed for horticultural works, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford and return.

• A30, from 8pm October 28 to 6am October 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closure for resurfacing works.

• A30, from 9pm October 30 to 8pm November 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington 24hr lane closure and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.

• A30, from 9pm October 30 to midnight, November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington to Fingle Glen daytime lane closure and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.

• A30, from 7pm October 31 to 6am November 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Cheriton Bishop lane closure and convoy for carriageway surfacing works.

• A30, from 7pm November 6 to 6am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington junction, Exeter carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Five Mile Hill, Tedburn Road and Ide Lane.

• A30, from 11pm November 6 to 6am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Alphington junction, Exeter to Fingle Glen carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Ide Lane, Tedburn Road and Five Mile Hill.

• A30, from 6am November 7 to 8pm December 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Fingle Glen to Alphington lane closures/contraflow and 50mph speed limit for resurfacing.

• A38, from 8pm November 7 to 6am November 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Chudleigh exit slip road closure for drainage works, diversion via A38 to Drumbridges and return.

• A38, from 8pm November 7 to 6am November 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh Knighton lane closure for drainage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
