DAWLISH Water was running high this morning following the flood alert for rivers in Teignbridge.
This was the level of the water earlier today, as high as the benches along the popular Brook area of the town.
The water level rise was predicted when the Environment Agency issued a flood alert for the rivers Teign, Bovey and Lemon.
Weather conditions have now eased but further rain is predicted for Saturday.
Rivers are expected to remain high for the rest of the day.
