THE pupils and families of Bishopsteignton Primary School and Bishopsteignton Preschool have once again worked together to support the HITS charity as part of their Harvest celebrations.
In what are some very challenging times for so many people, the school felt it was even more necessary to be reminding the children of the importance of thinking of others and their school value of ‘empathy’.
‘Our supportive and caring school community have once again worked together to gather a significant donation for this local charity’ said Headteacher Dave Killoran. ‘At Bishop, we work hard to teach our children about what is going on in the world around them and consider the difficulties and challenges that others are facing.’
