GRAFFITI promoting pro-vegan sentiment has popped up in Newton Abbot.

The messages, written in chalk, call for people to ‘be vegan’

One message in particular points to the logical fallacy of a person who claims to love animals eating them; such a person would be disgusted at the killing of a dog, for example, but would not bat an eyelid at a cow suffering a similar fate.

Such a person cannot, therefore, truly love animals.

‘Who is on your plate? Be vegan’ one message read.

Another stated: ‘Barbecue cows equals hero - barbecue dogs equals monster - eat no animals equals extremist’ another read.’
