CRAFTERS of all ages were invited to a special birthday party last week as independent shop Pom Stitch Tassel (PST) hosted their very own celebration last weekend.
PST were celebrating five years in business, as well as six months in their craft shop on Bovey Tracey high street.
The Summer Party was timed to perfection, falling on Shop Independent Day.
PST owner Emma Rendell said: ‘We are so grateful to everyone who attended our party and who have supported us in our business journey for the last five years.’
The day included free pom pom-themed party bags for the first 50 people through the door and crafting workshops for children and adults.
Emma said: ‘We have such a wonderful community of businesses and customers in Bovey Tracey are very proud to own a shop on their fabulous high street.
‘It has been a tough few years in business for everyone and this year seems to have been particularly difficult for independents, with many businesses that I follow and look up to have sadly closed, retired or even gone back to part time work.
'I am so lucky and grateful to still be here five years on still living the dream and spreading the crafting joy!’
