POLICE have been at Coryton Cove in Dawlish following reports of anti-social behaviour.
The response has come after a number of tents were seen pitched on the beach for several days over the last week.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘Officers attended Coryton Cove in Dawlish yesterday following a report of anti-social behaviour.
‘A local unit attended and spoke to those involved, who were given words of advice.’
Rumours have been circulating in the town following the appearance of at least two tents in the beach area.
Town and district councillor Rosie Dawson said members of the outreach team from Teignbridge Council would be visiting the area to check who is there and offer advice on what help is available.
