POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash on the M5 saw a man airlifted to hospital.

The crash, which involved a blue Vauxhall Astra, a black Skoda Octavia and a white Iveco Daily, occurred between Junction 28 and 29, near Exeter, at around 2.30pm on July 12.

A 33-year-old male was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with injuries thought to be life-changing, while a 50-year-old passenger was taken to Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital with minor injuries.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses that have not already spoken to them, but who may have seen the collision, or have dash camera footage, to contact police via 101 quoting Occurrence 50240172723.
