POLICE are appealing for witnesses and any information following a serious road traffic collision on the A380.
The collision occurred on the southbound carriageway at the on-slip at Ideford Coombe, near Kingsteignton, at around 9.10am on Tuesday, April 16.
The collision involved a white Scania Tipper lorry, a white Toyota Dyna and a red Fiat 500.
The passenger of the Toyota, a 23-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the same vehicle, a 35-year-old man was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The drivers of the two other vehicles were not injured.
Police are wishing to identify the drivers of two other vehicles, a silver 4x4 and a small red hatchback, which are believed to have been present at the time to assist with their enquiries.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
It was passed to highways to reopen the road at around 5.40pm.
