PLANS have been submitted for another 14 homes as part of a wider development on the outskirts of Exminster.
Heritage Homes have applied for permission to build the houses off Dawlish Road in Exminster, part of the south west Exeter plans for several thousand new properties.
This land lies within Exminster so plans have been submitted to Teignbridge Council.
The proposal is to demolish an existing property, known as Hollyoaks, and build a residential development of 14 homes, vehicle access from Dawlish Road, pedestrian and cycle access, public open space, landscaping and associated infrastructure.
Already under construction near the site are more than 300 homes.
The plans are for a mix of two, three and four bed houses and a bungalow.
The majority of proposed units comprise two-storey houses, the proposed bungalows are located to the south of the proposed access road at the north eastern end of the site.
A planning statement says: ‘The proposal would provide a high quality, well designed and sustainably designed and located development that would contribute to the South West Exeter urban extension’s strategic role in meeting need for growth in Teignbridge District and Exeter City.’
The plans will be considered by Teignbridge Council planners.
