PLANS have been submitted to build 30 homes on land at Sandygate in Kingsteignton.

The site, which was previoulsy used as a base for the construction of the B3193, is planned for the new homes by Devon Custom Homes is to the north of the roundabout near Clay Pitts Way and Lower Sandygate.

Allocated as residential development land in the Teignbridge Council local plan, the land has recently been cleared and levelled.

The proposals are for a total of 30 self-build, custom build and market sale housing.

The properties are to comprise of three and four bed homes, two and three bed semi-detached and three bed bungalows.

Developers say the site will provide high quality amenity and environment.

The plans include proposals for nature conservation meadow, landscaping, allotments, informal amenity space, access and associated works.
