A 73-YEAR-OLD woman suffered life-changing injuries in a crash at Highweek. 

The woman was hurt in a crash involving a pedestrian and a car in Highweek Village yesterday morning. 

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash which happened at about 10.35am on Sunday.

As a result of the accident, the casualty sustained life-changing injuries and was taken to Torbay Hospital. 

The road was closed whilst officers from the Roads Policing Unit examined the scene and obtained evidence.
