There’s a hose down going on at Newton Abbot fire station today (Saturday , April 20).

Crews are holding their annual charity car wash, with all donations going to The Fire Fighters Charity - an organisation  supports the mental, physical and social needs of all serving and retired fire fighters and their families.

No vehicle will be too big or too small, nor too dirty for crews to tackle - and cash and card donations are all readily accepted.

The event continues at the fire station until 4pm this afternoon .
