QUEEN Street in Newton Abbot in currently closed this afternoon (Easter Sunday) following a road traffic collision.

A blue Honda Civic collided with a post box at the junction of Queen Street and Courtenay Street at around lunchtime today.

Eyewitnesses at the scene  report both police and ambulance in attendance with both vehicle and postbox both severely damaged.

The road has since re-opened.
