NEWTON Abbot’s branch of a video game retailer with stores across the country is to close.

The town’s Game shop will close next month.

It is understood that the store, which offers new and used video games, board games, consoles, controllers and collectibles, has not been making enough money.

It will, therefore, close on March 17.

This news comes after the retailer closed its city centre store in Exeter, moving to premises elsewhere in the city.
