LOCAL Morris dance side, Isambard’s Gasket Rats, are welcoming new members in time for their winter practise sessions.
The side dance original dances, created by members of the side, but in the ‘Border’ tradition.
The first practise session is set for Wednesday, October 5, from 7.30pm to 9:30pm at Kingskerswell Community & Leisure Centre.
Isambard’s Gasket Rats are a Border Morris Side based in and around Teignmouth; the name stems from Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s ultimately failed attempt to build an Atmospheric Railway between the Teignmouth and Exeter.
