THE Anti-Bullying Ambassadors at Wolborough C of E Primary were lucky enough to receive a visit from Abigail from the charity ‘Bullies Out’ just before half term.
She spent the day with them, training them to become ‘Playground Pals’.
They learnt how to recognise when pupils might be unhappy or experiencing bullying behaviour and how that can make them feel. Abigail coached them in how to listen and respond to children who need help and they showed their detective skills in spotting problems in pictures of playground scenarios.
The highlight of the day was them showing off their acting skills in roles plays of various playground situations!
Jenny Lovick, Anti-Bullying Ambassador Co-ordinator for the School, said: ‘The children were amazing at sharing their ideas and I’m very confident that they are now fully equipped to do their duties patrolling the playground to help out their friends!’
