A MAN accused of assaulting a woman and strangulation appeared before the magistrates ‘court.
Christopher Locke, aged 41, of Whitelake Place, West Golds Way, Newton Abbot, pleaded not guilty to two charges of assaulting a woman by beating.
He is also charged that he intentionally strangled the woman in Newton Abbot.
He was remanded on conditional bail to appear before the court on August 4.
