YOUNGSTERS from Happy Holidays, a fun holiday club for primary aged children, were shown round Dawlish Fire Station last week.

They got the chance to operate the hose, try on firefighters gear and learn about the life of a firefighter.

A spokesman for Happy Holidays, via the organisations Facebook page, said: ‘A huge thank you to Dawlish Fire Station for having us today!

‘The children absolutely loved exploring the station and equipment!

‘We had the added bonus of getting to go in the ambulance.

‘Thank you again for such a wonderful morning.’
