AN investigation has been launched to find the cause of a fire in Plymouth city centre which saw Teignbridge firefighters called in.
Buckfastleigh’s crew took charge of the incident command vehicle during the large fire in Union Street on Saturday, March 1 at around 16.30pm.
The crew did not return to their home station until midnight.
As many as eight of Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service’s appliances, including specialist vehicles, attended the Nations Club building blaze.
Union Street was closed by police for several hours while fire crews tackled the fire, which had affected the first and second floors, as well as the roof space.
And now an investigation has been launched to hopefully identify the cause of the fire.
