AN inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of Ukrainian teenager Albina Yevko.

14-yearold Abina died after she was found unconscious on Dawlish Beach in March of this year, having earlier been reported as missing.

Sadly Albina was pronounced dead on March 5 despite the best efforts of emergency services.

The inquest into her death opened at Exeter Coroner's Court and, while a final post-mortem is still required, the preliminary cause of death is reported as 'multiple injuries'.

A full inquest hearing will take place at a later date.
