A TEIGNBRIDGE fire crew made sure their town's war memorial looked its best ahead of Remembrance Day this past weekend.

A spokesman for Buckfastleigh Fire Station said: 'We had the pleasure of cleaning the towns war memorial in preparation for Remembrance Sunday.

'We removed the slippy green algae and also the leaves from the approaching footpaths.

'Buckfastleigh Remembers....'
