THE annual Firefighters’ Charity car wash will be back at Newton Abbot Fire Station today, Saturday.

This is an event they hold every year to raise money for a great cause.

One of the team said: ‘Please come along and allow our firefighters to wash your bikes, cars, vans etc. 

‘No vehicle too big, too small, or too dirty for our crews to handle.

‘We will be starting the event at 9.30am on April 1, and all donations will be graciously received and donated to the Firefighters’ Charity. 

‘The charity works around the clock with limited resources to support Firefighters and their families who suffer from both mental health struggles as well as physical injuries. 

‘All donations and proceeds from the car wash will go directly to them so that they can keep providing such an amazing service.’
