ARRANGEMENTS are coming together nicely for Teignmouth’s celebrations for the Coronation of King Charles III Coronation over the weekend of May 7 to 8.

Cllr Cate Williams reports they are holding a two day event with marquee on The Den, Teignmouth.

She says: ‘There will be our Coronation Dog Show, Royal Art and Fancy Dress competition, live music and entertainment throughout the weekend, including a performance from our local Ukraine Singers, along with the Royal Ride Out and Bike Show with the Doom Riders and the Big Help Out plus much more, which we will confirm over the next couple of weeks.

‘This is a community event, we want everyone to have a great weekend celebrating the coronation of King Charles III.

‘Even if you are not a Royalist, it is also an opportunity to come together with friends and family, to enjoy the events on The Den and especially for The Big Help Out, raising awareness and funds for our amazing charities and volunteer services.

‘Who knows, with all the stalls taking part, hopefully there may be something to help our community become much more involved with each other.’

Entries for the ‘Fur-Tastic Dog Show’ at The Den, on Sunday, May 7, must be in at 10.30am and the show begins at 11am.
