A FOOD outlet will be moving into one of the empty units in Market Walk, the Mid-Devon Advertiser can confirm.
A tenant has signed a lease for the unit formerly the home of The Other Cup, the Mid-Devon Advertiser has been told.
Other than it being a food outlet of some description, there are no further details at present.
Elsewhere, work to spilt the former Edinburgh Wollen Mill building into two has got underway.
Having secured planning permission at the beginning of February, Teignbridge District Council (TDC) have begun work to remove the existing shop front got, with the installation of two sets of double doors coming soon after.
The existing timber shop front was in a poor state of repair, with rotten timber and flaking paint work.
The new shop front will, according to the design and access statement for 24/01745/FUL, ‘provide a clean, modern look to the frontage.’
No details could be shared, however businesses have expressed interest in occupying the new space.
