Chagford Fire Station is a support station for the Mass Decontamination Unit (MDU).

The crew recently attended a training event in Somerset to practise their skills. ‘It was great to train with live casualties’ a spokesman said.

Chagford's firefighters were joined by colleagues Wellington, Okehampton, Clyst St George and Taunton.
