A TEAM of Dartmoor firefighters have been rightly recognised for their dedication.

Firefighters from Chagford Fire Station were joined by AM Bottomley and SM Searle to receive their certificate of achievement for completing their four years of one hundred per cent availability to the community.

A spokesman for Chagford Fire Station said: ‘The station management team would like to thank the team serving at Chagford for making this possible along with those who no longer serve with us but contributed to this amazing milestone.’

The station took to its Facebook page to announce the news, where comments of congratulations came flooding in from grateful residents of Chagford and further afield.
