BARGAIN lovers should pop along to the RSPCA Little Valley charity shop in Newton Abbot this Sunday, St George’s Day.

The outlet, in Courtenay Street, is staging a special Posh Wear and Wedding Fayre on April 23, from 11am-3pm

If you’re looking for that gorgeous outfit, hat, shoes or accessories you’ll probably find it there. And for the men there’ll be suits and smart clothing available for that special occasion.

Manager Dawn Keys said: ‘We will be working the evening before to transform the front of the store. We’ll have so many items for that special event, including several wedding dresses.’

The Little Valley Animal Shelter is based at Ide, near Exeter. It’s totally self-funded and they take in any animals deemed at risk.

Dawn said: ‘We don’t just take in pets such as cats and dogs. We’ve taken in horses, poultry and even a pig one time!’

Assistant manager Rachel Lugg added: 'This is the first time we’ve done something like this and we’re really excited.’
