BIN collections dates have been changed to allow our binmen a chance to have a well deserved break with their families over the festive break.
Teignbridge Council says: ‘We adjust the days we plan to collect bins and boxes over the Christmas and new year festivities.
‘See when are my bins and boxes collected for the dates we plan to collect from your address.’
Revised Christmas bin collections are (normal collection day followed by actual collection day):
Tuesday, December 27 – Thursday, December 29
Wednesday, December 28 – Friday, December 30
Thursday, December 29 – Saturday, December 31
Friday, December 30 – Tuesday, January 3
Monday, January 2 – Wednesday, January 4
Tuesday, January 3 – Thursday, January 5
Wednesday, January 3 – Friday, January 6
Thursday, January 5 – Saturday, January 7
Friday, January 6 – Monday, January 9
Monday, January 9 – Tuesday, January 10
Tuesday, January 10 – Wednesday, January 11
Wednesday, January 11 – Thursday, January 12
Thursday, January 12 – Friday, January 13
Friday, January 13 – Saturday, January 14.
l Garden waste collections
There will be no garden waste collections until January 9, 2023. Garden waste collections will resume on January 10. If you have a real Christmas tree to get rid of during this time there are Christmas tree recycling sites available across the district.
