A COMMUNITY garden at Powderham Castle will feature on national TV again tonight.
The garden at Powderham Castle has already featured on the BBC’s Gardeners’ World programme.
Now presenter and horticulturalist Frances Tophill is back at the historic castle’s community kitchen garden to see how the project is getting on.
Sage Green CIC Market Garden isa social enterprise food project of organically grown vegetables and fruit which is now in its fourth year inside the walled garden on the Powderham Estate.
As well as growing food including heritage vegetables and culinary herbs, the project supports volunteers to improve their own wellbeing.
Gardeners’ World is broadcast tonight at 8pm on BBC2.
