MORE than 80 artists' work will be on display at the long-awaited inaugural exhibition at Teignmouth's leading art centre to mark its grand re-opening after a two year closure.
Teignmouth Arts Action Group (TAAG) Arts and Community Centre is to launch its 'Big Celebration Exhibition' on Saturday, July 29, with a special opening ceremony at 10am.
The exhibition, which features work from such artists as Bee Inch, Avenda Burnell Walsh, Clare Jenkinson and many more besides, will be available to view every day thereafter, from 10am to 5pm, until Friday, August 11.
During the opening weekend the TAG charity trustees and volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the future plans for the centre.
The full calendar of exhibitions already planned for Autumn '23 will be launched, as well as a varied programme of workshops and opportunities for you to get involved with, on Saturday, July 29.
Teignmouth Arts Action Group, which was formed a decade ago and runs the centre on Northumberland Place, was created as a community hub, staffed and run by supporters, and comprising two galleries, a workshop, a meeting room, and a kitchen.
