A FREE seed saving event is coming to Newton Abbot.

Organised by Linda Robson-Burrell, the event is an opportunity to learn how to harvest and store seeds.

Prospective attendees can also learn about safeguarding of heritage varieties, as well as how to share seeds with others.

The event, which is a collaboration between Newton Abbot CIC, Newton Abbot & District Co-Operative Association and Linda, who heads up Newton Abbot Seed Library, takes place at the Courtenay Centre from 7pm until 8.30pm on Thursday, April 18.

There will be free refreshments during the event.
