A DOG is still missing after falling into the River Bovey.
The incident took place on Friday when a brown and white pointer was walking alongside its owner on the Parke Estate in Bovey Tracey.
The site, highly popular with dog walkers, sees the River Bovey flow through woodland and fields owned by the National Trust before going on to join the River Teign.
It is reported the dog slipped and fell in to the river which was running high after heavy rain.
Despite extensive searches, sadly there is still no sign of the animal.
