THE Chairman of The Helen Foundation (THF), a charity that supports the arts for young people in Teignbridge, was absolutely delighted to find that he had received an early Christmas present – winning the top prize of £250 in the first ever weekly draw of the newly launched Teignbridge Lottery For Communities.

Roger Kirk said: ‘We had registered the charity with the Lottery and, along with a good number of other THF supporters, I bought my own lottery tickets online.

‘The £250 will be donated straight back to The Helen Foundation to further the work of the charity.

‘It’s a huge thank you to the Teignbridge Lottery for Communities that their work results in real benefits for charities, which in turn benefits people in Teignbridge.
