A TEENAGE boy has been charged with eight offences following a string of incidents in Newton Abbot. 

The 16-year-old is due to appear before magistrates charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of criminal damage, theft from a shop, common assault and theft from a motor vehicle. 

The youth was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in court on October 2.
