AN inquest has been opened into the death of a 20-year-old man found dead in woodland.

Lewis Cleverdon lived in Ipplepen and died in Bradley Woods at Ogwell in March.

A inquest in Plymouth was officially opened and heard that Lewis was single and worked as a steel erector.

Concerns for his welfare led to searches being carried out to locate Lewis who was found hanged in the woods.

There are no suspicious circumstances.

The hearing was adjourned and a full inquest will be held at a later date.
