TEIGNBRIDGE District Council (TDC) are introducing new charges for pest control.

From November 1, TDC will be charging for the treatment of rats and mice in domestic premises.

The fee for the service is £72 for up to three visits, with those who receive a reduction on their council tax being entitled to a 50 percent discount.

The council had been offering a free baiting service.

TDC have bee approached for comment.
