A PARISH council has voiced its support for the introduction of a 20mph speed limit within its area of responsibility.

At a recent meeting of the council, Hennock Parish Council voiced it support for a 20mph speed limit in residential areas of Chudleigh Knighton, Hennock and Teign Village.

The council will be lobbying to request Devon County Council to adopt 20mph as the default speed limit in the residential areas of these settlements.
